Official reception at the Consulate General of the Republic of India On January 26, 2023 the Consulate General of the Republic of India in Vladivostok held a reception to mark the 74th anniversary of India's major national holiday, Republic Day. Representatives of the NSCMB FEB RAS and its branch, the Primorsky Aquarium, have been invited.
Konstantin A. Lutaenko, Head of the International cooperation department of the NSCMB FEB RAS, congratulated Mr. Sai Murali, the Consul General of the Republic of India in Vladivostok by expressing confidence in further cooperation in science and technology.
Two agreements on cooperation in marine biology, ecology, biogeochemistry, marine natural resources, blue economy, deep-sea ecosystems' studies, etc. have been signed between NSCMB FEB RAS and Indian scientific organizations, namely the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata and the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa. It is important that the interaction between the regions of the two countries has recently been actively expanding.
NSCMB FEB RAS congratulates Indian colleagues on the Day of the Republic of India and wishes prosperity, well-being, and further successful developments in all areas of bilateral relations between the countries.
Academician Y.N. Kulchin has also extended his congratulation to Mr. Sai Murali, Consul General of the Republic of India in Vladivostok, on the 74th anniversary of the main national holiday of India. He emphasized a great potential of scientific and technical cooperation between the Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences and Indian scientific organizations. He expressed confidence in further reinforcement of friendly relations between India and Russia in the interests of both countries.
